I I recently acquired a Blisstool v6 detector and have been doing some comparison testing, using the deus.
Some interesting things I think we're discovered.
You'll here some folks say deus is best at unmasking in 18khz.
Well this is not entirely true based on my test and experiences.
The freq used depending on the detecting/unmasking/separation scenario will give somewhat different outcomes.
In same plane separation/ unmasking true the 18 kHz is the best, but in a 3D scenario where the say iron/nails are above the coin/target---this is where things change somewhat.
It seems for high conductors 12 kHz works the best in the 3D concept, but 18 kHz works better on low conductors.
8khz doesn't fair as well as 12 kHz with coins below iron, and 4khz is terrible----many targets would be missed.
An on nickels -- the deeper ones 4 kHz even in clean ground-----they are invisible in my soil
8khz is better than 4 kHz, but not near as good as 12 kHz.
