I prefer detecting when its in the high 40s to about 65 way more comfortable then being out in the hot sun 80-90 degrees.. and T is right 58 deg I hunt in short sleeves, Im in Indiana. I like to hunt as long as grounds not frozen solid if your moving and digging enough you stay decently warm.

Ohio on the lake.

40's would be nice bout now.
Though I made my best find in the ice.
I too prefer the cold to 90's an 90% humidity.
Yup
I'll be heading SW as soon as I sign them papers.
Though biddings seems to have delayed retirement for me. Was supposed to be this April.

Only time I like detecting when it is hot is when I am water hunting.
All other hunting I am good down to about 40 degrees.

I'm looking at the current temp here: -10 F or -23 Celsius. Kind of on the chilly side...

East central Georgia? Love it when the temp. is in the 50's and 60's. Summertime is a bummer unless very early in the morn. Heat, high humidity, gnats and mosquitoes!
Used to live Lafayette.
Dam Skeeter's bout carry ya away. Unreal.
I really liked the Winters down thatta way.
