Some luck today

I got out early to get ahead of the heat and dug 47 coins, silver ring, lots of jewelry. The thick chain bracelet is plated - it sounded just like a tin foil slight sound.

The ring is 925 & the flattened penny is from our city zoo. Steve in so az

Congrats on the nice finds...silver is always good even when it is a ring and I like the small guitar pendant...Neat find! Remember along with luck as you say, foremost is God's blessings!

Will you be getting any of the dust storm that is hitting Phoenix again? Reminds me of the dust bowl in the West during the 30's! Ma Betty

Did the heat make you quit soonerthan usual?

go through my records and make a list of places to do. When they are done I usually quit. I was out almost 4 hours today - time for lunch. When one is retired one doesnt have to go all day :)

Of course if I had a beach area like Joe I would go all day ! Steve

Good to hear Steve, as I am sure eating dust and having it cover everything sure wouldn't be a good thing! I remember when we were on vacation one year and going through Kansas, we stopped to eat by a roadside picnic table and it was so windy that my sandwich dried out before getting it eaten and we ate dust and grit that kept blowing up around us! Wouldn't want to live in windy Kansas, but my dad and family were born and grew up there before coming to MO in the 30's! May God Bless to keep the dust storms from your area! Amen! Ma Betty

I would hunt at night to stay cool! :)

of retirement ( for me at least ) is getting older and one loses energy toward the late afternoon :( First thing in the morn I'm ready to go. Steve
