Some Minelab users might recall the trip to the NE my friends took last fall. Well, Chris & Tom are back there again, and could use your help. :)

This year Chris is working his Minelab Explorer SE and Tom's using his Explorer II. So far, most of their hunting has been with the 15" WOT coil .... probably 99%-100%.

I mentioned the travels of Chris & Tom over on two Depot Forums but they haven't had any contacts yet. Today, again, they are in the Manchester, NH area and will be traveling and hunting the NE states until they return to the west coast about the first of May. naturally, they would like top meet up with anyone who wouldn't mind inviting them to hunt a site or two. They are both avid Explorer users, but will eagerly hunt with anyone regardless of what others are using.

I had two tallies I report on the other forums but have totaled them up to post here. Please, if you'd like to meet two great your fellows with a passion for seeking out silver and other older coins, give them a call!

Like Chris, I especially like to go after silver coins and because of that I list silver coins first. Also, any mention of Washington 25

Hey Monte I start my vacation in May around the 17th to the 25th.
Then in June from the 16th to the 24th. As of know and before my vacations, There is to much overtime and on call status at work former to commit into helping your buddies with some new sites, I do get out to detect allot it is just sporadic and not long sessions. Anyway I got some old colonial places to detect, And I would love to getting some Explorer, tips from your friends in person. I will keep my eyes open on the forum to watch their progress.

Thanks
Jason

Well, it's 6:39 AM here in Oregon so that means Chris & Tom have been at if for about 3-4 hours by now in New Hampshire. They are in Manchester, still, and hunting a 'green' in that area.

It's obvious that with these slim pickin's they need some hep from 'locals' to point them in some good directions to go to find stuff. Here's their results from 4

old coins like that aint so easy to find no more-

I grew up in VT and know I wouldnt just let some outsiders come and clean out my sites- then skip town-

cant they knock a few doors and secure a spot of their own? seems rather pushy to expect to be hosted in every state-- IMHO.

There are many ways to look at it, and let me share with you where my opinions are coming from. I have welcomed folks to come hunt my sites with me ever since I got started over 42 years ago, and as a result I have ended up with a lot of good friends and memorable outings.
