a prize from the raffle ticket drawing! These have been posted before in 2005 on the forum but thought the newer members would like to see and know that Ma did metal-detect and belonged to the club at one time! I used to do quite a bit of hunting and really liked being outdoors trying to find what the surprises were when digging up the soil under the beeeeeeeps!!! :) God Bless! Thanks 7centsworth I did good sometimes at the club hunts but not always.....really depended on how I was feeling and whether I could get to the buried treasures before the professional hunters (men) got to it first! Most are way too fast for me to keep up with, sooo they find lots of silver and the prize tokens! I usually didn't win at the raffle drawing, but did win the nice Prestege Set....they are really nice silver coins! I didn't have to dig them but was blessed by the Lord to have my ticket number drawn! :thumbup: :) God Bless! Betty

Thanks 7centsworth and Naw you wouldn't need too hang up your detector....Ma wasn't that good but sure was fun when I found some goodies and was :detecting: with the other members of the club or by myself! Actually, Ma liked hunting too well, but I still wrote poems for my Lord and prayed a lot, more than I can say that I do now......I have slowed down in too many things.....but hopefully I still serve God and obey Jesus, because I sure LOVE HIM! :angel: God Bless! Thanks Pete! Maybe one of these days the Lord will bless you to be able to attend the club meetings and find some nice coins and etc. in your club hunts!
