Took the MXT out for a spin after the snow was mostly mested off this afternoon. The hardest thing was finding a place that wasn't completely flooded. I decided to detect at the local Middle School and hit the high spots. I was using the Detech 6X8 SEF coil on the MXT and it really is a good coinshooting coil. My very first signal when I started to hunt was a small .925 silver ring so I was off to a good start. The ring was the only quarter signal I got but I did find 4 dimes, 5 nickels, and 11 pennys with one of them being a 1940 wheat. It was nice to be able to get out after being rain and snowed in the last few days.
