Was able to get out after work again. I got a very small but good signal bouncing around with a good sound and the occasional 12-45,46 but with no consistency. I figured it was something good, so I dug a big deep plug. I scanned the plug and got a sweet beep from it. I brushed some dirt away and got a tone with my garrett PP. I flicked a little more dirt away an saw the hint of silver, and it was bigger than a dime. I was thinking o'boy because 90% of the coins I have found at this spot have been from the 1800's,or earlier. The large cent I got yesterday, the king george II I got on Sat, and the 2 cent pc I got last week, were all from this spot. Anyway, it ended up being a 1951 quarter. I am glad to have found it, but thought I had something a little older. I plopped the plug back in and re-scanned the hole and got a very faint weird signal. there was consistency there so I pulled the plug out and pin pointed. I got a beep in the side of the hole down about ten inches. I pulled out a little clump and PP'd in my hand. Out pops another silver quarter 1942. I slowed down a bit and swept around the hole side to side. About two feet away I got another faint, weird, but consistent signal I dug down and found a1952 rosie. I think it was a little pocket spill. The two balls in the pic are musket balls. the bigger one is Brown Bess size Thanks for looking, dan
