Blood levels down to 8.5.

Next step: transfusion

Then, they are flying him to Vanderbilt this afternoon by helicopter. The doctor just came in to tell us that I may be able to fly with Brian.

Brian's condition is very serious.

Update: Brian has a fever of over 101 and that is a concern. They are starting the transfusion now.

Helicopter should arrive here around 3:30 or so. ER at Vandy is prepared to do surgery when we arrive.

I can't take any luggage with me so it will be awhile before I'll be able to post further updates. Mom and dad will bring Carol and my stuff later.

Dear Lord,

Please move upon Brian's fever and transfusion situations and do a mighty miracle in his body that he will go through the surgery very well as you guide the surgeon's hands and place angels all around to watch over and take care of him! Please give peace and comfort to Doug, Carol and Sarah that they will feel your loving presence surround them and also Brian! There is nothing impossible with You for all things are possilbe! We believe and receive Your loving healing power in Jesus' precious name! Amen! Praise God and Thank You, Jesus, for You are a prayer answering God! God Bless! Betty
