Some of my best water finds from this year!.........

First let me say that many water hunters find far more than I do, and that this was my best year ever in the water. I like digging old stuff better, but the drought we had this year forced me in the water more than usual. The first pic is of my better jewelry finds. There were many other ear rings, kids rings, junk rings, bracelets, chains etc...

And these were my best rings! 4 gold with diamonds. The rings had 3, 5, 10, and 21 diamonds. The 21 diamond ring is actually a wedding set. 1 white gold men's wedding band, one large gold men's class ring 1986, one 2006 large Valadium mens class ring, and two Titanium men's bands. The one lowest on my ring finger is my own wedding band.

You talk like the year's over - is the water turning too cold ? You sure did get some great finds - love the diamonds. That cross in the top pic sure looks long. What are you going to do with the gold? I see that gold hit $750.00 an ounce today, I'm going to keep an eye on it longer.
Good digs, steve in so az

much cooler in a hurry! The last two days have only seen around 50 degrees. We should hit the 60's again next week, but not sure I will do anymore water hunting? I do have neoprene waders, so maybe? I like digging old stuff better. Not sure on the gold yet? I would like to sell it as rings instead of scrap, but it is hard to market it that way. Still mulling it over! :)

I sell the scrap gold that's broken or my wife doesn't claim it. Sometimes other relatives get some. But I would never scrap out anything with a diamond - sell them somewhere. I have all mine yet in the bank box. Guess I'll leave them for my son or something, Steve
