Haven't made it out to the airport in a while and thought I would make a trip out today. It was kind of quiet, but not too bad. We had a few of our FINEST military men and women from the left and right coast meet in the middle today here in Amarillo for food and fuel. A V-22 Osprey from VMM-162 Marine Medium Tilt Rotor Squadron 162 loaded with Marines from Marine Corps Air Station New River, North Carolina was on the ramp about to take off when we arrived. And just before we left, a double dose of T-38's from the 9th Reconnaissance Wing, Beale AFB,CA flew over and did a break above us before landing. (Just gotta love the paint jobs on the T-38's...... )
