Sea Lice.............Sounds so disturbing, like head lice, bed bugs, ring worm. But when you call them what they are, Jellyfish Larva....I can handle that, lol
In south Florida, the purple flag is for the Portuguese man o' wars.
 
bob, I remember as a small kid going to the florida beach and seeing on the nightly news about Portuguese Man 'o War's being a' serious threat' in the local waters. I couldn't figure out why the US Navy would stand for such a thing. Took me years (being the landlocked kid I was) to figure it out.
