some old park finds from last year with the ace 250

just thought i"d post some of last years haul from a old park that had a homestead on the hill above it. i found 97% of the musket balls with the ace. the silver scout pin was one of my best finds.
the musket balls, bullets & coins were all very deep & made small tone-signals which i would have missed without good headphones. the coins are a 1835 silver sixpence a 1891 silver threepence & a 1867 penny.
hope you enjoy the pics

It shows the ability of the Ace.
Including myself we tend to question what the Ace can do.
We figure it's only a $200.00 machine, and when we read of others putting the Ace down we tend to believe them,
and forget the success that others had.

Again great post.

Happy Hunting

wellsaid Bruce So true applies to most things in life

When folks put the Ace down; I just have a quiet chuckle to myself. They have no idea of what it's capable of. It give account of itself very well. You say that it's only a $200 machine. All I can say is, Yeah, only $200 bucks. ($400 here in Oz though)

From the land of the Bluenose.....that is a great cross section of finds. Are you in a dry season there with the soil like concrete at this time of year? Congrats .

Hi Leslie yeah it's a bit of a dry one the winter was to short & the ground bearly had a chance to soften up. i"v been meaning to get out & hunt some old silver but i just keep finding that dam gold i think i"m addicted to finding it hence the lack of old silver this season hopefully i"m hitting an old park with a mate on Friday so i"ll let ya know how it goes.
