Some past Safari finds

This post is for the newbies primarily to give them some confidence in their Minelab:minelab: machine whether it be a Safari or Quattro etc; they are all great machines!!
When things get slow, I like to review past finds that my Safari has found for me such as the ones I posted here. I am constantly amazed at it's performance and reliability in so many lousy conditions. Heat....cold......sandy....muddy....humid...I have rental property in Illinois and it can get mighty humid out there!!!! And yes, I have found some great items there as well. It has never let me down and performs just like the day I bought it! I have other detectors but my Safari is definitely my go-2 one! G.L. & H.H. everyone!

Thats so golden it hurts my eyes! Very Sweet!

My advice to noobs is to gain hours on your machine. If you can get your coil over it, the Minelab WILL tell you about it.

Thanks K.T.! It's raining here and it's too wet to detect at the moment. So all I can do is look at past finds!!!LOL . I agree with you on putting in the hours. Don't we all remember those weird whistling, flutey, deep growls, moans and high pitched sounds when we turned our detectors on for the very first time?!.....also the great frustrations of figuring out what sound indicated what kind of target. Definitely a learning curve but well worth hanging in and learning over time.
Andy Sabich's books initially helped me greatly and then these forums have continued to educate me on this learning curve and I will admit, I am still learning and that is a good part of the fun!
The reward for that patience I have and still am putting in (BTW, I regard it as an investment) is gold and silver rings, jewelry, coins and relics that have paid for my machine many times over!
I love this hobby!:clapping:

I too am momentarily stranded. It is allergy season here and I hide indoors from all the pollen. The only good thing about it is that I can make my wife mow the yard! But gimme about another week and I'll be diggin again.

And I am SO jealous of all you other folks finding all my gold! While I have a box of silver rings and dangles, the only gold I've found so far are a few plated and filled rings and chains. I have GOT to get back to the beach soon.

Sorry you have allergies! I have had that problem in the past and I know what your going through! I'm not sure where you live and what State your in but I guess I am spoiled living so close to beaches. I find it is harder to find gold in parks than it is on the beach but there again, the fun is in the hunt anywhere you detect!!!!!
