I saw this field with what was a MASS of 'lumps':

These are Sandhill Cranes:

Never seen this many in one place at one time - must have been a convention.

On the right of the next photo is 2 Cranes showing off their wings (maybe a mating ritual).

This is a picture Sherry took the other night...I dragged her out of the house after I got out of work, I saw how beautiful the moon was on the lake. Sherry and I were amazed at this wonderful Blue Heron Crane standing about 10 or so feet off the beach in the moonlight.
