I like the way the article describes where you found them:
"Walking in the woods."

There are scads of woods around here and Ive "walked" through many of them - nothing like that has ever turned up. Neat tokens.

They look good, very special finds indeed.
Nice to know that although most of the owners are gone they will still be remembered.
 
Great finds bud. I love historical stuff like that. I've got a silver dollar that I wouldn't part with as it was part of a stash of train robbery loot recovered in New Mexico after being buried by the train robbers in the late 1800's.
