Hey all! Some of these finds are from the last month. The first set of pics are from last night. They are from an early 1900' s farm house. It made me do the ole happy dance! I was checking an area by an old hand pump water well. I got a good signal , and took the plug out. Checked it again and it screamed at me! Got my locater in there and pulled out a wheatie, checked the hole and pulled another wheatie, checked again and pulled another wheat! I figured that had to be it but I checked again ,still something there! I pulled a small clump of dirt out and there they were! Two 1942 merc's and a 1942P war nickel!! It made my day that's for sure! The wheats aren't pictured. The pendant I found was on the way back to the car! It was a solid 42. It has Jesus on one side and Mother Mary on the other! Don't know what is made of , there are no markings on it...... The next set of pics are from about one month ago when we went on vacation to Springfield, Georgia to see a friend of mine. I didn't have much time to hunt , but, I did get to hunt on his property for a bit. I found this Montreal fire dept. badge in his yard!! I couldn't believe it. What's this doing so far from home? I was not sure if it was real or not. Then within a 10 by 10 area I found these Canadian coins!! A 1947 and a 1949 nickel. And a 1955 Canadian penny! My friend told me his house was built around 1980. I have no idea what was there before that. Interesting!!........ The last set of pics are from different hunts that my wife and I had recently. There is a 1944S merc , that came from a favorite spot I like to hunt when I don't know where to go! A 1946 Rosie that my wife found and a 1943P war nickel! The Saint Christopher medal I found behind a bus garage! The school is no longer there. It dated back to the early 1900's! The ring looks really cool, but, sorry to say it's not real. Just a quick heart attack for me when I dug it up!! We have also found a number of wheats along the way along with the clad. And of course, plenty of junk!! Hope you enjoy!! HH J.B.
