This was a farm back in the 1800's and into the mid 1900's. Being my first time here, I just wandered around to get a feel for the area.
There are public walking trails, so I found more modern items than anything... but, I did manage a couple oldies.
Snagged a highly corroded 1840's Large Cent @ 6". Also, was happy when I found this

A crotal bell
I'll be returning to this spot.
Earlier this week I hit 3 or 4 different spots. Had some fun and nabbed a few oldies. My only good coin was a 1906 Indian Head, but it was eaten up just like today's
Large Cent
Some markings on an old spoon handle.

I've found a few of these (pic below) in the past. Does anyone know what it is
I was thinking it had to do with horses
A beautiful Large Cent thrown in for size (found earlier this year)

I was lucky enough to have found another crotal bell as well. Here it is with the bigger one found today

Both still have the pellet inside. They sound sweet
Found a tick attached to my gut, too
See ya
