yes thed did!!!!! the worm called trojan!! this is off subject but i thought you guys ought to know that trojan is active..we lost absolutely everything on the computer yesterday.i was reading about the (cap and trade) bill yesterday when it happened. do'nt know if the worm was tied to the cap and trade or not,,BUT do'nt risk reading that thing..the server said that trojan is the worst.even though we had the protection by att they still got thru.take care and good luck----ellis
 
Ill stay away. I dont run any fire walls not even windows built in one. And no anti virus ether. I back up all files to an external hard drive every week then unplug it. About once a year i reload windows after formatting the hard drive. Works for me.
I also dont use internet explorer at all. I actually have a program that removes it from the windows system and all its components then i install Fire fox and start browsing the net much much safer than if i had IE in my system.

it does auto updates and so far it's kept my pc's safe and uses very little resources while it's running.
Even the licensed version is free for individuals ... can't beat that !
