I sold my EXCALIBER to someone and am getting ready to buy another one but unsure on which....... I have narrowed it down to 4 detectors that i am looking at and i am not sure which will be the one i buy....

i read somewhere that the T2 is built by bounty hunter; is this true? ...... i had a TIME RANGER for a long time back in the mid 90's and enjoyed it a lot

how does this compare to the GTI 1500 the QUATTRO MP...... i dont think the EXPLOER SE PRO compares do you?

what about beach hunting with the T2

has anyone prospected with the T2

I am very leary about all digital screens like this..... has anyone had problems with it..... what about being in light rain with it

I have been hunting for about 20 years now and have always wanted a unit like the T2. It will blow any unit away from Garrett. I think it is not only the fasted responding detector I have ever used but the deepest. The only draw back about the T2 is there is no back light. I always find myself staying after dark because of the stuff I am finding. I can go in great detail but the T2 is the hottest unit going. I think the F70 & F75 are close but this unit is very easy to use.

In fact, you may jump on the $450 T2 in the classified - that is a great deal...

Rob is right on the T2. There are some great deals on the used market for them now, althou I can't figure out why someone would sell/trade such a great machine. If you get one, give it some time and really learn it well. It will find some great things. Yes, it is made by the same corp that has Bounty Hunter and Fisher, First Texas Group, but remember that David Johnson developed the T2 and he also did the Whites MXT which I use as well. Most T2's that come from a dealer have the rain covers included also. I don't know about the beach, never have hunted near the water as I am a die hard relic hunter and will have to say that the T2 SPANKS the others for that use.:teknetics:

VERY VERY TRUE...... i have seen a lot of people in the last 14 yrs of detecting get them and NOT learn the basics first and then get rid of them because they werent finding things right away.......
