The last two weeks and the next ten weeks at church. A husband and wife team do a 12 week summer class with the kids that is called Journey's with Joshua. Three classes each Sunday. Jr. Church, Sunday School, and Jr. Church again. First they get the lesson then we go outside to do an archeological dig if you will. You will see in the pics we have a big dig set up for the kids sectioned off in 16 even squares. The couple had asked me to introduce the kids to metal detecting. Last week we searched for coins and such at the church playground in the chip bark. I didn't get pics last week, but will try each week from now on. They found plenty of coins and they look forward to detecting again. many things are buried in the dig site like, chests with scrolls in them, coins, bones, silver spoons, marbles, arrow heads, etc...... I even burried 2 dozen antique bottles for the kids. Next week we will find genuine Roman coins.
Everything we find and do relates back to the Bible lesson we had at the beginning of class. I am very happy to be a part of it. More posts to come. :)

The dig site.
