Something to drool about. This weekends finds.:surprised:

There is no way a person can work this site out that's for sure so if you are in the area, you know where it is and you are welcome to join in on the fun if you have the time. You know the site is for everyone and I don't hold grudges against people who want to make some finds for themselves. Welcome Anytime! If not this time, and I find more Great Spots like this one, I would love to get together and hunt a site with you and the family maybe this fall. Until then Corey, Good Luck and HH to you and thanks for the encouragement.

All I can say is WOW!!!! What a nice haul there James and I can't tell you how happy I am for you and your friends that you took along with you. Just goes to show that some guys are willing to share their sites with friends and make their day as well. I know that you do a great job of doing your research and your posts only confirm that your hard work pays off. Very nice assortment of finds James and I know that you will be back to that spot and post some more great finds. Best of luck and HH buddy.........:)

Eddie

I will be going back this weekend again. If I get lucky, I will pull a Seated for you as well Eddie. But it could be hard in doing so since they are a bit scarce here, that is at least the places I go. I could use a Barber Half or a Seated Quarter so we will have to see what comes of it next weekend. Hope you find some great spots to hunt at next spring when you do some research. Good Luck and HH to you to Buddy as well!:detecting:

Going to try to make it is all possible and if there is a seated quarter I want it and I will leave your Franklin halves alone.
I think it will be lot of fun if I can make the 178 mile drive.

Rick

I will bet many have hit the site and some I am sure have done OK years ago as i was there back in 1977. I think those that now hit it have either a beginner detector or even some high quality detectors, but don't know how to use them or don't have the patience to use them.
It also takes time to find what you did and some traveling though may tried for a hour and gave up as they found nothing, or just a little clad. You spent the time and seen what can be found there for those with the patience and knows his detector well.

I too am waiting to see what else can be found this weekend, may be surprised.

It would be great if you can make it Rick. I will leave your Seated Quarter for now but sooner of later I will have to recover it. Good Luck and HH and hope to see you there.

I just started swinging my Detector and get a Wheat Penny signal. I thought that was a pretty good start. Little did I know that by the end of the weekend, I would have 85 Wheats with 17 Silver. Now that is what I call a very successful weekend hunt. This is a blast to detect at this site because it is fairly large and holds what I hope to be many more Coins. This weekend will only tell. Thanks for the post Randy and Good Luck and HH to you on your outings.

Remember if you QUIT, that you will be leaving great finds for someone else to recover Bottlebum. And the next Target could be a RARE Key Date Coin that you have always dreamed about finding. Better Success, Good Luck and HH to you.:detecting:
