I COMBINED A TRIP TO THE GROCERY STORE WITH A LITTLE DETECTING.. FOUND 4 DIMES & 5 PENNIES..
MY POOR OLD BACK IS GIVING ME FITS..I LIVE 17mi FROM TOWN & MY TRUCK GETS 18mi PER GAL. GAS IS $3.35 A GAL..THE OTHER DAY CHRIS FORGOT TO GET A DOZ. EGGS WHEN WE GOT GROCERIES..NOW IF WE REALLY WANTED EGGS FOR BREAKFAST, A DOZEN EGGS WOULD COST ( $6.70 FOR GAS PLUS $2.30 FOR THE EGGS ). 9 BUCKS IS TOO MUCH TO RUN BACK TO TOWN FOR A DOZ EGGS.. WE DID WITHOUT...

Hi pennies, it is good to hear from you and glad you are getting to detect and you hold true to your name by finding five pennies! Yes, to go back for eggs would be quite unprofitable, so you used good sense! Cliff and I run out of certain foods all the time, but he has to wait until I decide to go shopping and then I combine several errands during my driving days! Even with a small car the gas is too expensive and so are eggs and milk and whatever else a person needs just goes up and up until we think about owning a farm again! NOT Stay happy in the Lord and take care of you and Chris!

I think it is time for everyone to raise chickens like in the old days.

Say hi to Chris from us. Been a long time since we saw each other. Praying things are going well for you all...is it ok for a Yankee to say y'all? A true Northerner would say you all, eh?

At least you got out. We do the same thing here now...if we can't find more than one thing to do we don't use the gas...except church...it is always worth the gas.
