a concentric or dd design??? Anyone using it?? Do you like it better then the 5inch dd.... Sorry, but wasn't sure..

Mark ( ohio )............................. Waiting for a break in the weather to give a spin on the "new" f-75se. can't wait.

It is a concentric, as is the 10 inch elliptical. I like the 6.5 inch near fences, reenforced sidewalks and poles. I seem to be able to get closer to those big interfering undesirables with this little coil than just about any other coil I've used on any detector I've had so far. The 5 inch DD isn't bad with regards to getting close to poles either.

l find myself using it more then the 5" when coin shooting bottle cap infested spots. It doesn't like them nearly as much as the d d's do. I also like it for woods hunting for getting in, under and around bushes that you can't as well with the bigger coils. And it gets great depth. HH jim tn

The 6-1/2" is a concentric coil and I heard that it is pretty hot on small gold as compared to the 5" DD coil.

Here is a link to an old post that may help you with the little 6.5" elliptical.
