I guess it takes a Fisher user to expose a Minelab fraud. Good luck in your search for a REAL one.

Minelab users are predisposed to be the fraudulent type?
I see you are using an anonomizer portal, is there a need for you to cloak your identity? Do you use the capability so you can take cheap shots and rest comfortably knowing you are supposedly immune from trace?
Yep, I'm a Minelab user so I guess that places me in the highest order of scum. Hey, I've got a Garrett too, what does that say about me? Forgone conclusion that I'm an axe murderer who just hasn't blossomed yet?
I guess that'll be the next thing added to the 4473 form "Are you now or have you ever been a Minelab user?"
Way to go "pal".

First, this post of your's needed to be up one spot under Jefferson P. Kackal's post.
Second, my point was it was pretty idiotic for him to use this unfortunate (apparently real) incident to play the "brand loyalist" card. Sort of like a race card in my opinion.
Frankly I hope many people come to visit these forums, no matter what detector(s) they might have. For my own example, I visit most every brand forum to see what's cooking, who's finding what, and with what machines. Of course any visitor has to take excessively glowing reports with a grain of salt, something I call "investment pride" will get the best of what might normally be a very unbiased mindset. Once you filter the trash (like we wish our detectors could) we make decisions and perhaps buy one of those "foreign" brands.
What I don't condone however is someone sitting idlely by, just waiting for a chance to blow the brand loyalty trumpet. It looks silly, and makes me wonder how happy they could possibly be with their choice of detector if all they have time to do is hang out on other forums waiting to do the posting equivalent of a drive-by shooting.
In any event, I expect we'll hear little from Jefferson, apologies on the internet are about as likely as the democratic party congratulating GWB for a job well done.
