My wife authorized a family hunt today and my awesome mother in law was able to babysit my 18 month old future deus user. Father in law, brother in law and I hoped in the truck and visited a few cellar holes. Our original plans were to hit some historic parks, but the fall back plan was to swing a few known cellar holes in the area. Due to the frost line, we decided to wait on the park outing, and headed to the woods instead.
The first cellar hole produced a 1904 injun, the pictured relics and a 1917 wheat. My brother in law Josh just purchased a AT Pro and dug the injun. It was his very first injun, and the first signal with his new detector...freaking awesome!! I dug the relics including a pretty cool lock, patented in 1879. My wheat was lost at some point throughout the day... But I guess it's better to lose a wheat than a largie
All in all it was a cold yet great day with the family!! Love the Deus and hopefully the update comes out before my daughter is old enough to get a Deus for Christmas in December of 2021.
Love the Deus and praying for weather warmer than 15 in Michigan....!!
If anyone knows that the metal knee pad looking thing is, or how old it is please let me know. It says "Star collar Pad No6" on it
