Southampton Hunt with Barryny

Hey everyone,
I went out to the Southampton long island hunt last weekend that was organized by Barryny.I had a great time and found a couple of things and one that ended up winning for find of the weekend.(dumb luck) mostly dumb. I hit a British Officers Artillery ball button.It has three canons on it and a crown its from the rev war has the shank and all. Most of the gold leaf is gone but it is neat. It was down about 7" and nobody would have missed it. They gave me a big Minelab back pack and it was full of minelab labeled stuff. Lots of people got big coppers and other buttons and junk of course.A group of us went out to dinner Saturday night great guys and the hole deal was very good.I think but I may be wrong that everyone got at least one LC.

I stop by all the time to read but it has been a tough year for time for me to hunt.The button was a nice treat at the end of the season.
