Sov coil wires?

Bromly

Member
Hi all
I know if your check the number of wires in the stock 10" coil, there are 4. Red,black.yellow and white. Is this because there are 2 separate winding's? Also does the BBS technology have to have this type of dual winding to work properly?

Thank you!

Ken

This is the Sovereign coil.

Pins 1 and 2 go to the transmit coil and also provide power for the preamp.
Pin 3 is common and Pin 4 is your amplified signal return to the Sov control box.
Pin 5 is the ID out to the meter from the control box.
Savvy?
