Sovereign and WOT

Boothbay

New member
Got my new 15" WOT couple weeks ago and gave it a try on a older home lawn close to my house. I have pulled some Indian heads and large cents out of here before.

First day dug the shoe buckle on the top and a 1829 large cent. Did not recheck the hole until the next day because I started talking to neighbor. On second day check...... up came the second shoe buckle which is in pretty good shape except tongue is missing. Put them both together and you have one good buckle. They were about 10 feet from the sidewalk. Don't even want to think what a pair of shoes was doing there.

Love the sovereign and getting used to the 15" WOT will take a little time, but it is a quality coil.

I normally wear contractors suspenders when metal detecting and lovee-1 (from this site) suggested the bungy cord that minelab includes with its gold machine. I hooked that up to the sovereign and the link on the suspenders and I can push the machine and the WOT around all day. Not heavy at all with that setup.:detecting:

HH everybody

Very nice finds.. I use the wot occasionally .. as long as the site ist too trashy you should do quite well..congrats.
