Can someone tell me what coil is better,,the Minelab 8" BBS 800 or the Tornado 8"..I'm sure I read or was told the Tornado was the better one....Thanks...John
 
John the Tornado coil is better depth and lighter then the BBS 8 Hope this helps Jim
 
I have one of each, the BBS weighs a touch more and is thicker. Performance is pretty much equal between the 2. If I had a choice, I would rather use the Tornado though, it slices through the water easier and like I said, it's lighter.

The S8 by sunray is another excellent option for a coil of this size.
