sovereign gt noise

hi, i have a sovereign gt and have a hissing noise when i turn the threshold left to silence it is this normal . thanks

haven't noticed anything like that either. Is it always so? maybe you need to adjust the threshold before you go silent? If it's set too high, then you will hear remains of it when you switch to silent. Also, if the battery is low the threshold will change into constant noise that cannot be removed with the controls. Good luck!
