Well I think I am about to buy one and just hope I get a good used one.
I have to hurry up with my test garden at the lake so I can practice with it during the cold months.
at least I won't have to dig them up.
I think 10" deep is plenty with several in between to practice on.
I might go 13" with one or two but doubt it will pick them up.
I'd like to have at least 20 targets. I need some silver nickels and dimes etc .
Wish me luck on the buy
David

I bought the book and CD learning the tones for the Sovereign Gt.

David, I flip a lot of detectors and have found the Sovereign the most consistence on deep targets in my coin garden. In the field the Sovereign for me is the easiest to use. Most new people will give up on the Sovereign before learned, which like most tools takes time and practice to perfect. Good Luck

here are a couple of pics if they are true
