sovereign pole mponted pinpoint switch

HI,
I was wondering is someone could point me in the right direction to mosify my sovereign to have a pole mounted pinpoint switch. I dont want to mess with the silent search, I only want to have the detector go from disc mode to all metal mode at the push of a pole mounted button.
