Sovereign to Safari. Anyone?

Hi all,

I've been using the Sovereign series for several years now and it's treated me pretty darn good. I was wondering how the performance compares to the Safari.
I'm not necessarily looking to switch but I may pick up a 2nd machine and wanted to know how it stacked up to my GT.

Thanks,
Joseph

Maybe better separation in trashy ground in 'trash high',but no deaper, the sov is a keeper, never selling mine even though I have the saf & etrac.
If you do get a safari the two detectors make a good team.

Thanks Geoff,

Yeah there is no way I'm selling my Sovereign either. I do have 2 thought so 1 will go but I'm keeping the other.
Just wanting to get another machine to compliment the other. Been looking at the E-Trac as well but still in that research phase right now :)
If I did get an E-Trac the big question for me is which would become a backup to the other one ;)

I have an etrac now (well for two weeks),and the safari & sov gt,The etrac is a stunning machine,it is my main use detector now,it is very refined.

I think a sov gt & an etrac would be the 'belt & braces' setup.

The safari is brilliant,my wife now uses it as it is so easy, and yet potent.
