Speaking of Mercury pick ups...I picked up this "Merc" on the beach this morning...

Well, I know it 's not "Mercury " really...it's Lady Liberty with Mercury's wings...but I call it by it's nickname , "Merc".

Found an unusual item: two "wheaties" welded together -1944 &1946..I'm thinking "contest " on this one

My sister has a little red fox who comes by the back yard twice a day ..she leaves food out for it...I suspect the bear smelled the food and came by ahead of the fox and ate his supper...survival of the fittest, I guess.

I don't think my sister will be leaving any more food out on the tree stump for that little fox
