General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

to give away. Recently, I have given away 3 metal detectors to some deserving families to help get their kids into the hobby and spend quality time with them. I would like to give away one more machine. So, if you would like to help me put a smile on a kid's face let me know what you have to sell at a fair price. I am looking for beginner machines in new or like new condition. If it has the box that just makes it even better. This is not a joke or gimmick, just ask one of the site sponsors - Larry at NWI Detectors b/c he sold me the 3 past machines at his cost! This is the type of dealer you can trust to do business with.

Great work David. As a single father of two I feel it doesn't get any better than helping the kids. Nice job also Larry at NWI Detectors, this is a great example of why we should strive to support our forum sponsors. My hat's off to you both . . .
 
Nice gesture David.-----Please teach/show them proper recovery techniques when you give these individuals metal detectors.---So as to preserve our hobby.---------Del
 
That's definitely one of the reasons I only do this for families with a parent that hunts themselves. I have had sites put off limits b/c some jerks didn't respect the property.

Hey, it's great that you do that. I''m teaching my grandson that there is more than video games- fishing, metal detecting, and shooting./ The kids nowadays really need to learn the outdoors. It sure didn't hurt me when I was a kid. I commend you on your actions. Cya-Mark
 
Rebel.. Good job. I am also trying to get an autistic girl a machine. I have not been able to get it in the budget so far this year. Be cause of the autism I need to get a simple machine.
like a Tesoro compadre or older sinle nob machine. Anyway I will send you a PIC.Of last year in November.
