Supposed to get 4 to 8 inches of that nasty Michigan white stuff, only it is coming up from the south. Hope it misses us, as if they cancel school I have to go in early, but at least I get off early too. Was hoping to go out digging Saturday, but may have different plans to make.

I could use more work! Besides 4 - 8 is just enough to play in.

weather forcast of NO snow but they are saying snow from now through next thursday and could be up to 20 ". Sigh. I want SPRING

Happy Birthday, might be early, but wanted to let you know I hope you have a blessed one without the white stuff, but I don't want it either! So, ya'll, don't send it to MO! Had too much rain and is raining tonight! Seems that is all it does lately, but better the rain than all the white flakes that could be falling! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

Sorry to hear but it is wintertime ya know and when it is cold the white stuff happens....but better than ice a few inches thick on roads, trees, highlines and etc. Then it is really slick, icy and baaaaaad!! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

We have plenty of snow here in Upper Michigan. Does anyone need some? Looks like it will be May when I can get out there and do some hunting.

what town are you in? I may be heading up there this summer.

I live in Ontonagon County, west end of the U.P.

Taking the family up this summer. Been many years since I went to Copper Harbor, Lake of the Clouds etc....

Mike, be sure and stop at the Adventure Mine in Greenland and take the under ground mine tour.

Okay snow is here. Only have around 3 inches so far. They have been calling for a foot of it all day. Hope it stops soon. Don't like the cold and snow anymore. A couple more years and I hope to retire early and become one of them snow birds. Take the detectors, the wife and the dogs and head south. Maybe I should have listed the wife first, ya think?

Well, DK, your first thought was the detectors......You have :detecting: on your mind! Hope all works out and you get to retire and be a snowbird and join the flock going SOUTH! :) A Robin or maybe more than one....but haven't seen more than one at a time, so could be the same one..has been here so far even in the COLD! So, I just think Spring is around the corner....but could be a very wide one! Groundhog saw his shadow so they say there will be 6 more weeks of winter! May God Bless! Ma Betty
