Found this out in our pasture. Its lead, with stamped "St. Louis" on one side, and "LEMP" on the other. Any earthly ideas what it is/was?

...a lead seal as pictured below.
At one time, Lemp Brewery took up 10 city blocks in St. Louis, 1842-1901. The Lemp Mansion is listed as one of St. Louis's most famous haunted houses.

Well, after I posted, I found info on Lemp Brewery on the I-net. But couldn't figure out how this lead thingy placed in Lemp history. Thanks Steve, you are amazing. <img src="/metal/html/please.gif" border=0 width=29 height=15 alt=":please">
