Standard T2 modifications

Hi guys,
Just curious if any of you have ever heard of the Boostification mod for the audio on the T2? This mod was done by Pentechnics in the U.K.. It was said to sharpen up the tones on the T2 and make them cleaner. I have sent emails to them but have not gotten any response so far. I read about this mod on Garys detector website as he is located in the U.K. also.. If anyone has had any insight on this mod please let me know and if there are any other modifications anyone has heard of and would care to post them please do so. This modification was not just another headphones plug in but had soldering to the circuit board and on Garys website he said the unit that Pentechnics did for him made a world of difference in the audio as it cleaned it up quite a bit. I am wondering, since I don't own any of the following, if a set of high quality detector based headphones like Sun Ray-Gray Ghost-Black Widows wouldn't provide the same signal boost/clean-up as this device your talking about.
Maybe folks that own these headphones could offer their input & experience regarding this.
