I got out and hit 5 parks that are done by everyone with a detector here but had some luck anyway. Dug 64 coins, bogus gold, real gold , 2 silver items , a huge Ike dollar and misc jewelry.

The top left ring is 925 silver as is the center piece - 1/2 of a I love You pendant. the man's bracelet is 14 K & broken. The flip side has a name in raised letters but I didn't want to show it as someone might want to claim it and they need to know the name. The top right ring is stamped 14 K. It looked a little funny coming out of the ground so I acid tested it and it failed. It will now go on my Bogus Gold display board that is growing fast.

Here's the bogus gold ring all cleaned up. It sure looks good enough to sell now !

And lastly, the huge Ike dollar coin, 1971. It came from a very small kid's play area, sand & 2 short play things. steve in so az

happy for ya. Did ya break that gold record yet?

You sure do know how to get the good stuff. Congratulations.

year on the gold record. Since the economic meltdown people just have not been buying gold items to lose . My record is 45 and right now I am at 15. maybe in a year or two it will bounce back, not complaining tho ! Steve

great hunt!!! especially for a well hunted park!

People down your way must either be wealthier or more careless, to have lost their jewelry, than those here in the north. I rarely find that much jewelry in any kiddy park here. I did find a woman's wedding band yesterday but that's unusual.

Nice finds Steve. Trying to get my friend to move back from Phoenix, but he says no way. He loves Arizona. Go figure. LOL

a big YUCK !! I never go there - too many people, too much smog, too much of everything. Plus they have a huge detecting club there. steve
