Went to the park yesterday with 8000 , finding the usual clad coinage etc. What surprised me was that the id was pretty accurate. If it said it was a penney , it was. But not only that, it was accurately iding at depth. In other words zink at 8" , that's what it was., I was using the 11" dd. settings were sensitvity at 60, ground balance 50, 52. 3 tone. It was hitting the nickels pretty good too. Found a junk ring also. Will need to take it out more often to learn it better. I usually use a tesoro sidewinder because of its simple set up. Turn on and go with auto grand balance and pinpoint. Not very deep though ,but fun to use.
