This baby has been hiding under a concrete block since the 70's, once the block was moved it only had about an inch of dirt over it.

Just think how many other coins are under driveways, and sidewalks & garges, & parking lots, nice find

Thanks guys,

Is that a Park find?
I'm thinking that by the wear on it and if it was in circulation up to the point it was lost then its been longer than the 70's more like the 30's or 40's

A very nice find Big Brother.

Yep a park find, about a stones throw from where you found your 1898. I was thinking about the age of the outdoor theater, and thinking it was covered up in the 70's when the theater was built. So I would say you are right it was lost in the 30's or 40's, most likely the same day yours was lost.

Well, seeing how mine is older but it has a little more wear then its possible they were lost around the same time.
They look like sisters to me. LoL!

What would be nice is to find the rusty can that the couple of other hundred are in.

Those Barbers will always get your heart to beating fast when you find one. Very nice!
