steel bottle cap problems on my F75, will a small coil help?

So in reality it is not only the DD coil it is frequency as well. I have always read DD coil is the problem, apparently that is not the only issue????? thanks

Yea those multi freq machines never dig trash.
The other problem with single freq machines is there not heavy enough and process to fast.

It's a inherit problem with all DD coils, on all detectors. Some detectors do better than others, like perhaps your Etrac does over your F75, but that doesn't do away with the DD coil having a tougher time with bottles caps.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, if you don't like whats being said about the DD coil, that fine with me. To each his own.

Mr. Bill

I agree Mr Bill. I seldom dug bottle caps with the 6 1/2 elliptical coil with my F 75, but am digging some now with the 5" DD. I also occasionally hunt with a fellow with a DD coil on his etrac and he digs some bottle caps, too. We've never counted which of us dig the most, but he gets his share. HH jim tn

Guess it is whatever you like. I quit saving those pesky rusty caps. My friends wife uses the heavy detector bit I think she works out?????HH
