Stepdad passed from cancer

8 wks. or so ago I posted that he had been diagnosed and many prayed. Today he has gone home to be with our Lord God. He now has true joy wich he never had much of on this earth.

Its not all bad and now, for him, its all good and all God.

Sorry to hear about the loss, but good to hear he is with our LORD. You and your family are in my prayers.
 
Sorry to hear of the loss of your stepdad but thankful he has gone to a far better place than our sinful world! May God bless and give you each comfort ad peace in his passing away! We do grieve for them but happy, too, when they aren't suffering any longer! :angel: God Bless! Betty

Sorry to hear of the loss to this world but glad on the other hand that he is with the Lord and has escaped what is common to man. May God bless those who are suffering from the loss...may they be comforted in the knowledge he is living forever with Jesus.

Then my biological father says OH WELL. What a butt.
Grew up with my stepdad and only recently have called him my stepdad to anyone and then just to differentiate for the uneducated. Also because I tire of explaining the vastness and complexity of my family tree, to those who have met both. I have two dads (in theory)
He never once called me his stepson to anyone, EVER. He had one son.

lost my step dad about 6 moths ago. It was hard as we were kinda close.
