A couple years ago;when I was detecting that beach club I detect every year,under a tree I detected an X-ACTO knife-wiht the blade still in it!!!:surprised:I know thats not the same as a syringe;but just imagining stepping on that thing in bare feet;or even tennis shoes-would slice right thru them...:(
 
I got a rusty utility knife blade from a swim area this year! :(
 
in my case between the blood thinners and that dirty blade I'd probably be hospital bound. Glad those don't happen often.
