Storing your finds?

Hi all, I was just interested in what you use to put your coins/jewelry, etc. in while you are out hunting. Do you put them in your pocket or do you use a coin/trash apron or pouch, if so what kind do you use. Thanks! Steve.

I use a Minelab pouch. It was not cheap at about $30. Has 2 big pockets one velcros shut. I keep my finds in it. I keep my trash in a tool bag type pouch on the oppisite hip.

I know a fair number of folks that use Army surpluss type pouches. I may do that next time, Beale.

but that was before the Tesoro. The last time out with my Eldorado I weighted my pants down.

Now I have a V and I might have to go with a heavy duty pouch.

Hay Steve,

I use my pockets a lot.

If larger/muddy targets are expected, I use a nylon pouch that attaches to my belt. It has
two pockets and a loope. I have a hanger that attaches to my belt for my shovel, if I need
it.

HH,

I carry "snuff" containers for the coins. The junk goes in my pouch (large pocket) and the containers go into a smaller pocket that closes.

I usually put on a work shirt with two large pockets and only carry a probe.

My hunts are almost always short, but it does get to be a problem with scrap diggins.

I prefer to keep a low profile and let onlookers feel I'm searching the park casually.

If I were carrying a Lesche and had a retrieval apron some onlookers might be on their cellphone to the Parks Department!

I've considered a clear plastic bag on a belt hook, to show off the trash I pick up.
