Straight shaft recommendations. which co Should I go with? HELP

I made my own straight shafts (over and under) and (the one behind the elbow) and they have served me well but now its time for a change. Which Co. puts out the best out there. I am 6-3 and I don't want to buy a shaft that will make me bend over so that my coil will skim the beach sand. I know you guys have bought these shafts and have a better idea then I regarding what works the best on the beach. I have made one shaft that was over and under and another that worked well and that was the one where the excal 11 was behind my elbow, I think I like that one the best of all as it seems to balance things out after the 4 hour hunt plus. Can you recommend?

Thanks all

Check out Anderson Detector Shafts at Kellyco.

i see we have strict moderation on here now, messages deleted, can't mention any product of non site suporters, to me that sucks, this post will probably go the same way:thumbdown:

I think they call the situation a conundrum!

Someone has to pay the freight and many of us would like answers that may not be in the best interests of the advertisers.

As my son says, "Dad, it is what it is!"

Until some-one devises a better way to pay the bills we have to live with it.

Regards to you all,

CJ

I just wanted to find out what was available out there and I'm very disappointed in the way some of the advice that was given me from fellow hunters were deleted only because they recommended a non sponcer. I understand how things work but I thought that was a little petty. Thank you all for your help I did find what I was looking for at the end.

If folks really want to be helpful with a non-sponsor item, send it in a PM and change some of the letters that name the non sponsor. That way the sponsors who support this don't get shafted with overt endorsements of some other manufacturer's product and the individual requesting the data gest the help they asked for. You can always put your e-mail address in the post and get the information that way. Jim

Sorry to say that this sort off censorship turns me against the sponsors rather than for, its one thing to have an advertising banner, another to have messages deleted containing other posiblilites when all you are doing is trying to help, this is what made the forum so good, you could ask for help on anything and get an honest reply, not now, i have always looked at the sponsors offers first as they are handy with clickable banners, not any more. i also recomended sponsor items where due, http://www.findmall.com/read.php?26,1123764 that has ended too (they even modded that and took off the sponsors name rtg)

All i can say is its a good job they dont have a ford car sponsor
