Straight shaft

Any of you Tesoro users out there use a straight shaft. I was wondering if it would make my tiger shark swing any easier.

Maybe , maybe not. A straight shaft will place the search coil closer to your toes. You'll have to extend your arm out a bit further on a swing.
The best straight shaft is a modified one that is used on many other brands. It puts the coil further out front of your toes and your arm can drop into a natural position closer to the body.
Works much better when hunting stained, silty water, you won't end up stepping on the search coil.
Something to think about.

Sven, that Whites straight shaft in my mind is one of the best ones on the market today,i have just ordered one for my Crossbow Pulse its very well built and very popular over here in the UK for mounting the bigger Deus coil on.

I use the Plugger shaft on my tiger and love it .here it is on one of findmalls sponsors http://www.indiannationsdetectors.com/tigerrods.html

Check out Anderson shafts. They got a carbon fiber shaft for the tiger and sand shark .He makes some nice shafts! :O

For what its worth, I haven't found a straight shaft that offered better balance of less weight than the stock shaft.

I wouldn't say the same for Minelabs.
