Straight Shafts

Wet and Dry

New member
Where do you guys get your straight shafts from? How many are home made? Has anyone heard of Anderson's Shafts.

yes alot of people use anderson shafts as thay are well made ,and yes also to the homemade shafts if you look at some in the mods fourm you will see
a few diff. types but most are made the same general way a straight peice of alum tubing size of your present shaft,cut to size you want for balance remove your arm cuff or buy
another one if you don;t want to take apart yours,A bike handle bar grip like the one you see in the mods fourm drill a few holes in the shaft at the points your detector uses
at the coil attachment points for the lower shaft,put arm cuff and bike grip were it feel good to you (use tape at first to temperary tape in place)drill holes for cuff screw in place tighten the grip in place
good to go:biggrin::thumbup:

I didn't order online.. I walked into their store.. Many boating places carry the tubbing..

Maybe this Sku # will help..
