This is 2 1/4 inches long,5/8th of an inch wide.it is made of brass and the bottom comes off.but it isn't open to the whole inside of the unit.it looks like at one time it possibly turned like a lipstick container,however i am not sure of that. There is an engraving of a flower next to the man you see in the pic,than a pic of a women,than another flower.i am begining to wonder if it might have something to do with a marriage.i don't know.tell me what you think.
