I have had my new E-TRAC for a about 10 days now and been hunting about 1-1/2 hours a day with it. I started hunting in a place I had hunted with my ATP and V3i to get used to it and to see i I could find stuff I had missed with my other detectors. Well I found more with my E-TRAC than I did with my other detectors combined. I was amazed what I had found. I did pull a wheatie and a silver quarter and a silver charm.
I then went to another park I had never hunted and could tell someone else had hunted there be cause I could see lots of plugs in the ground so I followed the path of the plugs and I started find coins immediately. and again was amazed that I found so much the other guy had missed. I also found my a silver ring with it and a silver ear ring. I know I have left over 100 pennies I didn't even try to dig but will go back for them when I finish cherry picking.
In a nutshell I have found Just short of $30 in clad in the 10 days I have had it. This thing is awesome.. It is nothing short of what I have heard about it. I have used the stock program mostly other than I tried the new park program and it worked well.. I hunt by tone so the vdi's although helpful don't make me drop to my knees. I have found very few tabs and bottle caps.. My V3i has a bottle cap reject and I dig a lot fewer bottle caps with the E-TRAC
